Aeternus is a new and currently unverified mega-collab in Geometry Dash, hosted by Riot and co-hosted by ryamu, icedcave, and others in the extreme Geometry Dash community. Built to succeed Acheron and conclude Riot's hell trilogy, Aeternus was created with the sole intent of pushing human skill limits far past the point that it was released for open verification after nobody successfully beat it legit. It is widely known to be one of, if not the most, difficult level ever created and has had many discussions about whether or not it's possible for a human to do any of the truly insane parts. This iceberg covers the history of Aeternus, the development of Aeternus, its gameplay, the creators of Aeternus, the verification race, some community theories about the level, builds of Aeternus which were forgotten, other trivial facts, myths, memes, and everything in-between. The entries will be ordered based off of what is most known with common information to the most obscure and mysterious information, while the entries have been sourced through evidence where the data is available. However, they will also be derived from old community comments, deleted media, and speculation that had happened in the community for years before they were posted.
