New-age music
Please note that I will only accept proposals if they contain either artists or specific musical works related to the topic which is defined below. I prefer to be the only person involved in this iceberg's evolution, so whether it will be expanded to include more categories of entries is up to me at the moment. With that said I appreciate your willingness to assist me on the research. This is a non-exhaustive chart featuring the most notable artists and works of the broad new-age music movement, which began in the 1960s in the United States before gaining worldwide recognition since the 1970s. This category, although not unanimously referred to as a genre, is characterized with easy listening, use in relaxation and sometimes environmental references. This iceberg dives into the half-century old topic, focusing on a wide variety of related items which have influenced new-age music in numerous ways. In the future I will also append detailed information with descriptions and links.
