Foreign Popular Culture Ranked by Japanese Popularity
This iceberg chart will serve as a follow up to my foreign pop culture ranked by American popularity iceberg chart I made a while back. Being the modernized country in Asia that it is, I made this chart to remind everyone that Japanese pop culture is more than just plumbers, electric rats, pink puffballs, super sayans, sailor scouts, evas, Hashiras, school idols, maids, cardcaptors, quadrupedal taiko drums, JoJos, and chainsaw men. They too enjoyed popular culture from around the world in the same vein as us Americans did. Much of this info was backed up by "Germans Love David Hasslehoff" on TV Tropes. You can view it here if you are curious: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff
